STUDY FULL: Peel Pads (Study 25-93)

Panelist Criteria:

Age: Females 45-65

Skin Type: All skin tones

Ethnicity: All

Skin Concerns: Moderate Wrinkles and Hyperpigmentation

Testing Site: Face

Compensation: $150


Study Participation Requirements

  • Must be ok with professional/Visia photos

  • Must maintain the same look throughout the study (lashes, lips, eyebrows, etc.)

  • Can NOT participate within one week of previous study


Instructions:

  • Arrive with no makeup on your face

  • Do not use any skincare (lotion, serum, SPF) on the testing site prior to your lab visit

  • At the lab, you will apply the provided product to the testing site

  • Can not wash face for 24 hours after application


Exclusion Criteria

  • Any woman who did not meet the inclusion criteria.

  • Women who are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or nursing a child.

  • Women with a known sensitivity to face/eye products

  • Women using systemic or topical anti-inflammatory agents with the exception of OTC acetaminophen (e.g., Tylenol), ibuprofen (e.g., Advil), or aspirin for 5 days prior to the start of testing.

  • Women who could not agree to not use systemic or topical anti-inflammatory agents, with the exception of OTC acetaminophen (e.g., Tylenol), ibuprofen (e.g., Advil), or aspirin during the course of the study.

  • Individuals using oral retinoids within 1 year prior to enrollment (e.g., Accutane®)

  • Individuals using topical prescription retinoids within 6 months prior to enrollment (e.g., Retin-A®, Avita®, Tazorac®, Avage®, Differin®)

  • Individuals using other prescription or over-the-counter products that can make skin more sensitive or have an effect on the skin within 4 weeks prior to enrollment (e.g., retinol, alpha-hydroxyacids, hydroquinone, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory agents.

  • Women who participated in another clinical (face/eye) study within 14 days of study initiation.

  • Individuals with any visible skin disease.

  • Individuals engaged in a concurrent research project of a facial project.

  • Individuals with a known sensitivity to cosmetics or personal care products

  • Individuals currently undergoing treatment for cancer and or in the past 5 years.

  • Individuals who are currently under treatment for asthma or diabetes.

  • Individuals with ANY facial piercings. Individuals with any facial tattoos (with the exception of thin liner on the upper lash line [no winged eyeliner]).

  • Must commit to all appointment times. Dates are not flexible.

  • This study requires 5 visits

Study Visits: 4 Visits. You must have a confirmed appointment time.

Select time between 7:00am-11:30 am OR 1:30-4:30PM

  • Visit 1  Tuesday November 11  

  • Visit 2 Wednesday November 12

  • Visit 3  Tuesday November 18

  • Visit 4  Friday November 21

  • Visit 5 Tuesday December 9
